Now, this is a two part post. In the two posts you'll see my wishlist for things I really want to save up and buy this year. Part 1 is dedicated to books and movies whilst Part 2 is a fashion wish list! Also, as a last little thing before I start, make sure you download the fantastic new app Grabble from the App Store! This app literally shows you clothes based on what you like, and honestly some of the tops and dresses are absolutely beautiful!
Books
Okay, so this will change later in the year when new books come out but these are the current books I've found and really like the look of:
These two are definitely on the list! For those of you who haven't read The Mortal Instruments series, I recommend it! The two books you see above are the final ones in the main series (there is a spin off series which I'm going to start!) and I'm currently on the second book. Honestly, I've never read anything like it. The series focuses on Clary, who has started seeing creatures who should be invisible to her. She gets a huge shock when she finds out about her family tree...

This one, I haven't read much about. However, I've seen this and the other books in the series advertised for a couple of years now. From what I gather, the world is free of adults and anyone under a certain age sort of has to survive - it sounds sort of like the CBBC show from years ago called "The Sparticle Mystery" which I loved! Anyway, it's different from my usual choice so I'll see what it's like!
Movies
In this section, I'm going to go over the movies I really want to see this year! For anyone who reads my posts often, you'll know how much I love the Divergent series. Well, I already have my ticket for Insurgent on Thursday (I even paid to see it in 3D!) and I can't wait to see it!
Just look at the poster... Theo and Shailene are back for another movie! And Ansel! I'm not going to lie, I was irritated when the first trailer came out because the plot looked different from the book but now, I really don't care because it's still Insurgent! Okay, for those of you who don't know, Insurgent is the sequel to Divergent. In Divergent, we saw how Chicago had been split into groups based on people's personality's; the peaceful were in Amity, the selfless in Abnegation, the honest in Candor, the brave in Dauntless and the smart in Erudite. If you couldn't fit into one single group, you were known as Divergent - that's not something you want to be when Erudite and Dauntless are running round trying to kill you. That's all I'm saying about the plot...

My other favourite movie franchise; the Marvel Universe. We've only waited 3 years to see all the characters together again, but here they are! Featuring Hulk, Thor, Captain America and Iron Man (as well as Black Widow and Hawkeye), we get to see what happens when the genius Mr Stark (Iron Man) creates a robot that "protects" humans and then later decides that we're the enemy. I love this series so much and to see them all in one movie is incredible! Plus this comes out just before my birthday!

The Goen series is really good. I've read the first three books, and they were awesome. I haven't had time to get the rest yet.
