A little update (and something extra)

Hey everyone,

I'm back again after not posting in a while. The thing is, I now know what to write about but I have put all my energy into homework, revising and reading Mortal Instruments (I'm on Heavenly Fire!). Here is a little list of my to-do list for the blog:

  • Avengers: Age Of Ultron - Review
  • Birthday Review
  • Clothing Wishlist (that one is from like two months ago!)
  • Another post as well...
I don't know when I'll get them up, but just know that they're coming at some point between now and my death. As a side note, I owe you wonderful people who read my blog a little something to pass the time. I do not write poems, I write stories - but I decided, I'd give a poem a go. Here it is:

I remember when I was in school,
And my brown hair hung from my head,
The boy who I loved with my heart and my soul said,
"It'd look better red."

I remember when I was in school,
And my red hair stuck to me like glue,
The boy who I loved with my heart and my soul said,
"It'd look better blue."

I remember when I was in school,
And my blue hair, of which I was fond.
The boy who I loved with my heart and my soul said,
"It'd look better blonde."

I remember when I was in school,
And I cared what others said,
My life rotated around the opinions of others,
And now I lay here dead.

From the weeks of poetry work in English, I know how deep some poems can be. This one isn't like that, it's very literal. The message is that don't change yourself, to be perfect in someone else's eyes. Stop caring about how others think of you, and do what you want to do. I mean, why haven't I come out to my family? Because of their stupid opinions, and if we all just stopped caring about how others perceived us, we'd live such happier and positive lives.

Love you all,
Ems!
