Advice to past me

I've just found this one on the internet and I think it's a really cool idea. Basically, you write a letter to past you giving yourself advice for what to do and what not to do. I know this might give away a lot of who I am, but sometimes you just have to grow a pair (ironic on a Transgender blog!) and be brave!

Dear past me,

Put down the microphone... You are not posting videos of you singing on YouTube. Jesus people will never ever let that go... Also, that thing you're about to do with your eyebrows? Yeah... no. So basically you're still getting a lot of hate from people at this point. Well, just get close to people. That's my advice. Once people see you as a nice person, things get a hell of a lot better. 

Oh! You're also going to go through that self-harm suicidal phase. Remember, you'll still hate both your parents in a couple of years so remember to make their lives hell for them. Oh! And try and save up your money because you'll end up going to the cinema a lot in a couple of years time. Did you know they make a second Captain America film and another two Avengers films? How amazing! 

Just a little bit of final advice for you. In a few years time, you're going to have a nice circle of close friends who know everything about you. Some of them you're going to be closer with than others. But those people who you're talking to right now, they're the ones you need to keep because they're all wonderful people. You can't ask for better friends than them.

From yourself but the more feminine version when you realise what the term transgender means!
